Nicole Newman

Partner

Nicole Newman is a partner at ChristianAttar. Her legal practice spans both litigation and transactional matters. Her litigation experience includes complex business and commercial disputes, contract issues, business ownership conflicts, property law, and construction law. On the transactional side, she has handled a variety of real estate matters, including commercial purchases and lending, commercial leases, and business formation and governance. She has represented a wide range of clients—from individuals to public companies and financial institutions—across at least five states throughout the U.S.

Nicole received her Bachelor of Science from Texas A&amp;M University in College Station, Texas and her Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law Houston with Cum Laude honors. While at South Texas, she was consistently named to the Dean’s Honor List, received the Dean’s Merit Scholarship each year, and became a member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society. Nicole also gained valuable legal experience as a judicial intern for United States District Judge David Hittner in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. Thereafter, she joined the firm as a law clerk and was named an associate upon receiving her Doctor of Jurisprudence the following year. In her sixth year of practice at the firm, she was promoted to partner.

Nicole is a native Houstonian with a deep appreciation for the city’s diverse culture and cuisine. Her free time is spent with her husband, daughter, and rescue dog. Nicole also speaks conversational Mandarin.
