COVID-19 FAQs

Like many businesses, Christian Attar is adjusting and evolving to best serve our clients, our prospective clients, and our community. We are committed to providing exceptional, uninterrupted service during this challenging time, while also protecting the health and safety of everyone with whom we interact. Therefore, in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, as we continue following all CDC guidelines and government mandates, we remain fully operational.

Is Your Office Currently Open During Normal Business Hours?

Yes. Christian Attar is open during regular business hours. Out of an abundance of caution, a few members of our team are working remotely for the time being, but most of our attorneys and support staff are at the office each day.

When and How Can I Contact You?

You may contact us by phone, at (713) 659-7617; by email, at fax@christianattarlaw.com. You may contact individual staff at the firm in the same manner as you did before – by phone and email.

Is Your Law Firm Accepting New Clients?

Yes. We are always accepting new clients, and we welcome questions from anyone in search of an attorney.

How Will I Receive Updates Regarding the Status of My Case or Legal Matter?

The legal process has not stopped, and neither will we. Some legal matters take longer to resolve than others. Regardless, you can rest assured that your attorney will contact you with regular updates on the status of your case, as usual. You may also call, email, or schedule a video conference with your attorney whenever you have specific questions about your case.

Are Courts of Law Still Open in My Area? Will My Court Date be Rescheduled?

Many of the courts in Houston and surrounding areas are temporarily closed or limiting aspects of their operations. Court dates are being rescheduled according to available information about the coronavirus pandemic. Our attorneys will keep you apprised of all changes to your case and scheduled court dates, but you are welcome to contact us with any specific questions that you may have.

Will Scheduled Depositions, Mediation, Arbitration, or Settlement Negotiations Occur as Scheduled?

Thankfully, we have successfully maintained momentum with all of our cases; and thus far, all depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations have taken place as planned – although, some have transpired by way of video conference, rather than in-person meetings. Your attorney will keep you informed of all developments in your case. However, as always, you are welcome to contact us if you have any specific questions or concerns.
